The Academic Advising Center provides academic advising, information, and referral services to Division of Undergraduate (DUS) students as well as to anyone who requests assistance, including students enrolled elsewhere in the University, prospective students, faculty, and staff. Academic advisers are available at Penn State Berks on a walk-in basis or by appointment.
Academic advisers help students evaluate their educational plans, answer questions about exploring major fields, and provide general information about academic policies and procedures. The advising of provisional (PROV) students is also coordinated by the Academic Advising Center.
All students are assigned an academic adviser. Adviser information for new students will be available the Friday before classes start. Adviser information can be found on eLion. If your adviser is not listed, please contact the Academic Advising Center, 161 Franco Building, 610-396-6280.

Utilizing an academic adviser is encouraged throughout the semester and the student's academic career. Self-advising is not recommended. Ultimately, students are responsible for their academic actions and decisions.
Non-degree students needing advising assistance should contact the Academic Advising Center.
